Masterpiece Journey respects the personal nature of the information you share with us, particularly information about your marriage and relationships. We are committed to handling that information thoughtfully, responsibly, and with appropriate safeguards.

Masterpiece Journey is operated by Freedom From Within, NFP. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and the choices available to you when you use the Masterpiece Journey website, Masterpiece Marriage Assessment, reports, coaching services, and related services.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use Masterpiece Journey, we may collect information such as:

Contact information, including your name and email address.

Assessment information, including your responses to the Masterpiece Marriage Assessment, assessment results, scores, interpretations, and reports generated from your responses.

Marriage and spouse information, when you choose to connect with your spouse through Masterpiece Journey. This may include information necessary to establish the relationship between two participating spouses and generate couple-level experiences such as the Together Report.

Communications, including information you provide when contacting us for support, coaching, questions, or other purposes.

Purchase information, when you purchase a Masterpiece Journey product or service. Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers such as Stripe. Masterpiece Journey does not intend to directly store your complete payment card information.

Technical information may also be collected automatically when you use our website, such as browser, device, security, and usage information necessary to operate, secure, and improve the service.

We seek to collect only information reasonably necessary to provide and improve Masterpiece Journey.

2. How We Use Your Information

We may use information we collect to:

• provide and administer the Masterpiece Marriage Assessment;
• securely identify you and provide access to your assessment and reports;
• save assessment progress and allow you to return later;
• calculate assessment results and generate your reports;
• connect participating spouses when requested;
• determine eligibility for and generate a Together Report;
• provide coaching, products, services, and customer support;
• process and maintain records relating to purchases;
• communicate with you about your assessment, reports, purchases, or other services;
• send marriage resources, encouragement, Masterpiece Journey news, coaching opportunities, or other marketing communications where permitted;
• operate, maintain, troubleshoot, secure, and improve Masterpiece Journey;
• prevent misuse or unauthorized access; and
• comply with applicable legal and business obligations.

3. The Privacy of Your Individual Marriage Assessment

We recognize that assessment responses may contain personal information about your marriage.

Your Individual Assessment responses and Your Marriage Report are private to you.

If your spouse also participates in Masterpiece Journey and the two of you are linked, linking does not give your spouse access to your raw assessment responses or Your Marriage Report. Likewise, you do not receive access to your spouse's Individual Assessment responses or Individual Report merely because you are linked.

When both spouses have completed the required assessment process, Masterpiece Journey may use information from both assessments to generate a separate couple-level Together Report.

The Together Report is a distinct report designed for the couple. It does not change the privacy of either spouse's Individual Report.

4. Email and Communications

We use email as an important part of the Masterpiece Journey experience.

Service Communications

We may send emails necessary to provide the services you request, including:

• secure assessment and report access links;
• assessment-related messages;
• spouse invitations;
• report availability;
• purchase and transaction communications;
• customer-service responses; and
• important service or security notices.

Because these communications are necessary to provide requested services, they are separate from optional marketing communications.

Marriage Resources and Marketing Communications

When permitted, we may also send occasional Masterpiece Journey marriage resources, encouragement, newsletters, coaching opportunities, updates, and promotional communications.

When you provide your email address through the Masterpiece Marriage Assessment, we will clearly disclose how your email may be used.

Marketing emails will provide a way to unsubscribe where required. Unsubscribing from marketing communications does not prevent you from receiving service communications necessary to access or use Masterpiece Journey services.

We do not collect a participant's physical location solely to determine marketing eligibility. Marketing practices may vary when necessary to comply with applicable laws.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information or identifiable assessment responses.

We do not provide identifiable Individual Assessment responses to advertisers or use those responses for third-party advertising.

We may share or permit access to information with service providers that help us operate Masterpiece Journey. These may include providers supporting:

• website and application hosting;
• database and authentication services;
• email delivery;
• payment processing;
• analytics and website operations;
• customer relationship and communication systems; and
• technical support and security.

These providers may process information as necessary to perform services on our behalf and are subject to their own contractual, security, and privacy obligations.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, protect our rights or users, investigate fraud or misuse, or protect the security of Masterpiece Journey.

6. Payments

Masterpiece Journey may use third-party payment processors, such as Stripe, to process purchases.

Payment providers may collect payment card details, billing information, and other information necessary to complete a transaction. The information available to Masterpiece Journey may depend on the payment service and how the transaction is configured.

Masterpiece Journey does not intend to directly collect or store complete payment card numbers.

10. Age Requirement

Masterpiece Journey and the Masterpiece Marriage Assessment are intended for adults age 18 and older.

We do not knowingly provide the Masterpiece Marriage Assessment to or collect assessment information from individuals under age 18. If we learn that we have collected personal information from someone under 18 through the assessment, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information.

11. International Visitors

Masterpiece Journey is operated from the United States and is designed primarily for users in the United States.

People outside the United States may be able to access the website and services. If you access Masterpiece Journey from another country, your information may be processed and stored in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate.
